If Everton doesn't make the League Cup Final it's inevitable Martinez will be sacked come the end of the season.

LION LEADER LEGEND a mile offside. Although you can see how the touch from Oscar is missed, even if it's not really excusable. Shame.

I think Plato's pictures of McClaren are starting to edge Stray Wasp's novella's of matches.

I mean come on. Just look at them!

Perfect face, perfect facial expressions.

Know better than to draw any serious conclusions from a single match but that first half was the best I've seen from Newcastle in ****ing ages.
Better finishing from Moussa could have had that game wrapped up by the 45th.
Lovely debut from Shelvey.

Indeed. I missed the first half and am waiting for MOTD to show it.

Was watching the CFC/EFC stoppage time with my dad, who never watches.

"Isn't he offside?"

Linesmen get it wrong pretty regularly, but that doesn't make this one any less egregious.

The bigger issue is that Everton have too much talent to be where they are. This comes down to Martinez not being able to organize a defense. I like the guy too, and they are fun to watch.

Seriously - he should've been sacked long ago.

Joe Allen not in the starting line-up? That's stupid. He's earned it. Oh well, YNWA!

Fellaini is still in the starting 11. Ugh...

Funny thing is, he didn't play that badly in the first half against Newcastle and the second is mostly remembered for not capitalizing on that scoring chance.

We'll see if Smalling can pull an "evans" and have two stinkers in a row.

Ceremony I hope you watched those first 15 minutes. Just so that you see what others see in Sakho.
