He was on pace for 117 goals at one point this season. He gave himself a nice head start on 50 goals. Now he's playing at a 45 goal pace. He has 27 goals in his last 60 games. That's 37 goal pace for all but the first 2 weeks of the season.

He's also under a point per game in those 60 games. 56 points. That's a 76 point pace in a season where 31 players already have at least 77 points. His points per game average would probably be even worse if he hadn't gotten hurt and decreased the number of games available to go pointless. He was on a four game pointless streak when he got hurt.

But he scored 40 goals three years ago...
