I guess there's that. The Steen segment tends to be bad because it's a apology for poor officiating for the length of the segment.

Which in turn is why the cfl is a bad product. I just can't get behind it.

College football is entertain, but just truly horrendous as an institution, they have the unfair "advantage" of having what are tantamount to free employees.

I agree, it is unfair, but the product is fantastic, if you havent been, you have to go.

Tunein stopped working completely for me a couple months ago. I use the Radio Canada app now but it doesn't allow pausing, rewinding or fast forward.

Holy ****, if that really is him, then he has shed some serious weight. Can't stand him as a play by play guy, but respect him if that's what he did. A lot of salads and walking I'll bet.

Not radio but media related. Former Oilers on ITV host Tim Spelliscy is retiring from the business after 42 years. Tim got his start in radio in Grande Prairie, then in TV in Regina before moving to CFRN-TV and then ITV in 1979 as a news reporter and as the host for the Oiler telecasts during the glory years.
