Red Deer comes to town to open the preseason against the Oil Kings at the Downtown Community Arena @ 7 PM. The rink will be closed to the public and I'm not sure if there's a broadcast.

I attended the home opener on Friday night. Brutal attendance and felt so dead in there. I always enjoy Jr hockey though.

Yeah they are playing in the wrong arena. They needed to have made the Community Rink a small 6,000 seater and have the Oil Kings play there.
