Getting beat by Kane in OT isn't a mark of shame... he's probably the deadliest talent there is in 3 on 3 OT in the NHL.

We are talking about Drai and not Lucic or Maroon. Drai should have been able to handle the player and Talbot should have been better

Because everybody should be able to handle Kane 3 on 3. Wait, Kane would be the hardest player not named McDavid to handle in that situation.

Kanes whole game is "you can't touch this" Theres no way Drai can stick with Kane. He doesn't have first step speed to that degree, few players do.

Kane is one of the shiftiest players in the league, he's a tough match-up for pretty much anyone. Bigger guys especially would have a tough go unless they can body him off the puck.

I'm not sure Sekera's skating is back to par yet though.

Maybe not, but he would've been a better bet.

Maybee if our 8.5M player wasnt a passenger on the 3rd line and did something the first 59mins of the game .....

He scored the game tying goal and has a 6 game point streak. Yes he made a bad play but let's put away the daggers.

Nuge would've been a better match-up with Kane than Drai just like Drai would be better against a guy like Getzlaf IMO. The obvious to me would've been Connor on Kane.
