Back into “must win” territory (aren’t they all by now!?!?) Chicago comes in off a poor loss to Vancouver, banged up and in a 3 game slide and forced to play their backup goalie, while we will be healthy and relatively rested for the first time this year. Usually that all spells trouble for our intrepid warriors....

Fortunately we have the Night Witch curses which will help propel our Holy Warriors to victory. At least that is the intent but hey it is 5-2 and the McJesus Faithful need all the help they can get if they want a playoff berth.

Curses on the Blackhawks skates to feel like heavy cinderblocks slowing them to a crawl and allowing our resolute Oilers to fly past them with ease.

Fear and angst shall be the order of the day for the cowardly Chicago Blackhawks who will be driven to despair by our fearless forechecking.

A blight on the shooting ability of our enemy, whose shots shall sail wide while ours enter the heathen Hawk net with laser like precision.​

Just. Win.

Optional skate this morning, Klefbom confirmed he will be in as will Sekera. D pairs still Projected. Oilers have till 3PM to activate Klefbom and make corresponding roster move. Assume Slepyshev will be sent to Bakersfield as he does not have to clear waivers.

Tell me about it. The whole lineup doesn't put fear in hearts. The Hawks are finally done. 3 cups was damn good but this is what NHL Cap attrition looks like.

Now the Hawks are ordinary and getting spanked by the likes of the Vancouver Canucks with players like Vanek, Boeser, Gagner lighting the Hawks on fire and stuffing them in a dumpster.

I doubt the Hawks even make the playoffs this year. Its been heading that way and their first round ouster in the playoffs last year pointed to them now being also ran.

The Oilers need these 2 pts and should ensure stuffing them in a bag.
