^you can thank the almighty Glen Sather for that! the same genius that drafts d-man Dylan McIlrath over d-man Cam Fowler.

I never understood how Fowler dropped that far. I couldn't even believe the pre-draft rakings had Fowler, Gudbranson, and Gormley all so close. In a lot of cases, Fowler was #3. To me, he was the clear top D in the draft all along. He should be in Florida or Columbus right now (although I doubt Columbus regrets passing on him).

I was going batshot crazy as Fowler fell--screaming at my computer screen feed of the draft for the oilers to trade for another pick
