I dont think I'd do that honestly....maybe I think there is more possible with Lindholm than others, but either way I dont love RNH either. He's solid dont get me wrong, but I'd bet against him getting to 60 points in Carolina.

I disagree, I think RNH gets really underrated around here. I could definitely see RNH putting up 60+ on a line with Skinner (provided Skinner is healthy and plays at the level he did last year). Plus, I would love to see a RNH/Staal/Rask 1-2-3 punch at center.

No. Nurse is going to become a much better all around defender than Faulk is. In spite of our need for a PMD , giving Nurse AND our most experienced 2 way center AND a first round pick is ludicrous and will never happen.

We traded Hall for Larsson because he is very good, undeveloped still, and didnt cost us an arm and leg like you are proposing here.

Since the Canes have absolutely no reason to trade Faulk and the free agent pool of defensemen and options for the oilers have shrunk, the Canes would want a amazing over payment for them to think about moving him.

I doubt that Eberle or RNH fills their shoes blowing off quota.

I would expect it would take Nurse and Draisaitl and a decent draft pick.

I love how people keep saying this....the guy has played 71, 77 and 82 the last three years.

Meanwhile, your precious RNH has played in 40, 80, 76, 55 games the last 4. What an iron man.

I just think he is too small to be an elite center. 185 lbs, and he just looks a little scrawny.

Now, if you told me we could get him and not have to give up the farm, I'm in for sure. But there is no way in hell I would be ok with trading Faulk to get him.
