Let's see

Pasta injured, Bergy not looking 100%, Z and Carlo struggling, Richie and Kuhlman adding little if anything and a lot of other guys with obvious rust spots

And yet- this series is very, very winnable

You can tell Rask wasn't too happy about all those D giveaways and the rest of the team read his body language and kind of got befuddled.

The D has limited the Hurricanes to very few high quality chances and he's not happy, give me a break. Top goalies don't give up winning goals from distance and an angle with no traffic. It' s time he started pulling his weight, bloody embarrassing that those 2 incredibly average Hurricane goalies are out playing him so far,

The amount of holding carolina did was out of control. Watch the last faceoff. Bergeron beats Aho and then Aho grabs Bergeron and doesn't let go until it's over.

But good call on the phantom elbow and the unsportsmanlike on Lauzon. Maybe call one of the hits in the numbers next time?
I mean you're never going to get a call in that situation, but man that was a bad look, especially with the massive rebound and open net.

Bergeron had his stick held for legitimately 7 seconds straight, while trying to break away with the rebound coming directly to his space. Marchand had his snapped in two from Hamilton slash.

It's just tiresome seeing the NHL let the same teams get away with massive amounts of interference all game

That winning goal was not on Rask.Bruin player dropped it to nobody and sure enough Hamilton wired it into perfect spot.Sometimes you need to tip your hat to an athlete.(ps:You do realize how hard it is to take a pass on the move and hammer it like that) Beautiful shot!!On to Game 3.Go Bruins.

Cassidy has lost confidence in Studnicka. He’s scratched for who or them.
Let's not act like Studnicka has been here all year and in the dog house or something. He's played 2 NHL games, and then the exhibition against CBJ.

Love him as a prospect, but thinking Bruce is going to insert him is setting yourself up for disappointment.

That was a bullet, man. He had no chance. Problem is they can’t score without 88.

Too many passengers tonight. 74 soft as warm butter. Basically Rielly Smith 2.0 with less size. Khulman is an AHL player with an NHL release. Ritchie is, well Ritchie. The fourth line is busy but couldn't finish a good piece of pie.

Sweeney's roster tweeks/trades/drafts have not worked, at all...

All that said and the Bruins should still win this series. But they will have play over their heads and get some luck to beat any of the top three teams that finished ahead of them in the RR.

The Bruins are lucky they drew Carolina. They are the only remaining team without a #1 NHL goaltender. If Reimer didn't have that bloated contract he might be out of the league. Mrazek is terrible. Bruins need a full effort and they have this series.

Well obviously shithead Rod was right. The NHL is "a joke" and we've all seen it, every game is like a "crime scene" (loosely paraphrasing) No idea what the refs are doing when the penalize a shove but let a high hit go totally uncalled. I really would've loved to have seen Z knock that pukes teeth down his throat with a haymaker. It would've been worth a game suspension to put the Canes and future teams on notice that the Boston Bruins will not tolerate dirty hits that can ruin a career. If the league isn't going to do it someone like Chara has to make an example of what happens when you mess with his minions.
