It would be nice if Ylonen could up his game a bit more
Any player in the AHL at 22, close to 23 years old, not to be close to PPG in the AHL, should be look as a fringe nhl player. Odds are against him. Especially for an unidimensionnal offensive player like Ylonen, if we wants he become a nhler. He needs to produce on an inferior level. Nobody will convince me the opposite

What is motivating James Neal to keep playing? Is he bad with cash?

Read an article that explained that his NHL team told him he was cut. He was pissed off about it, didn’t want to go to AHL. His friends (on the team) told him to try it so he went.

He realized that he still wanted to play hockey, to be on the top6, make a difference, hang with the boys, etc but could no longer do this at NHL level. So he embraced the AHL, veteran/mentor and happy to keep on playing.

Laval needs to generate legit scoring chances. Springfield has done a great job of keeping everything to the outside and keeping the front of the net clear.
Hofer is solid.
