2014-2015 Season

Baertschi 83 - Ribeiro 84 - Callahan 87
Backlund 81 - Monahan 81 - Galiardi 84
Raymond 81 - Colbone 80 - Selanne 81
Stajan 81 - Goc 81 - Downie 82

Del Zatto 85 - Skid 83
Giordano 85 - Brodie 80
Butler 80 - Russell 79

Emery 80
Ramo 76

Wasn't expecting a good season at all, but the preseason has me thinking otherwise. The team goes 6-0. Emery leads them with 6 wins, .941 SV and 1.81 GAA.

Ribeiro has a tremendous preseason with 2 goals and 9 assists for 11 points (right behind the NHL leader who has 13). Calgary gets first place in their division during the preseason.

With a poor roster, the Calgary Flames finished with a record of 40-34-8 for 88 points. They finish 10th in the West, 2 points out of a playoff spot. Going into the season I wasn't expecting a good year at all, but they actually did pretty good. 10th in offence, but 4th worse in defence. The power play was on fire early in the year, however we finished 22nd in the league. The penalty killing was fourth best for a large portion of the year, but just like the power play, we finished 22nd.

Highlights of the season:

Ribeiro with 29 goals and 56 assists for 85 points! (What!?!?!?!?)
Baertschi finishing his rookie campaign with 56 points + CALDER
3 20-goal scorers
9 20-assist players
3 defencemen with 30+ points (MDZ 42, Brodie 37, Russell 30)
First line was +59
AHL Team finished first in the league with 100 points (lost in first round lol)
Reinhart, Granlund and Hanowski all finish in the top 5 for most points in the AHL

Before the draft I traded Giordano + Ehlers to acquire the 3rd overall pick. I had previously acquired the 22nd Overall pick from Philly last season.

Draft:

3rd Overall: Kylington / 4.5 Y / D
12th Overall: Gropp / 4 G / LW
22nd Overall: Korostelev / 3.5 G / RW
61st Overall: McCarthy / 3.5 R / C
85th Overall: Indrak / 3.5 R / RW

Free Agency:

Toews 97 / C - 12.5 M per year for 7 years
Sekera 84 / D - 5 M per year for 4 years
Carle 80 / D - 0.795 M for one year
Weise 79 / RW - 1.8m for one year

So I have encountered a problem ... I've done a huge roster overhaul, editing prospects, I created nhl draft prospects such as Kevin Fiala, Alex Tuch, Dylan Larkin etc.and placed them on teams that hold their CHL rights.

For some reason all the prospects are locked in with Anaheim as their pro team and it will not let me change it. The draft year remains as undrafted as it should, I ran a test season to see how the draft would shake out and for some reason none of the created prospects were in the draft but after the draft they all appeared on Anaheim roster. How do I fix this so it doesn't happen again?
