I wish July 1st was as good in the game as it is in real life.

Yeah, it would be nice to compete with other GM's.

In 2k, you can physically negotiate contracts and what not, which I really like..Then again, I would like to see a lot of stuff from 2k implimented into NHL 15, but knowing EA, there won't be anything.

2K had a lot of really good ideas. They just weren't executed too well.

Dallas ends up being **** EVERY YEAR in my BAGMs, so they're going to be my next BAGM. Rebuilding them into a cup contender.

Decided to star a St. Louis BAGM. (After i did all the FA Signings trades etc., atleast most of them, some i forgot.)

Current lines:

Tarasenko (83) - Stastny (86) - Oshie (86)
Steen (84) - Backes (87) - Berglund (85)
Lehterä (79) - Sobotka (81) - Schwartz (80)
Porter (76) - Boyle (79) - Pääjärvi (80)
Extras: Reaves (75)

Bouwmeester (86) - Pietrangelo (90)
Jackman (85) - Shattenkirk (86)
Gunnarsson (83) - Leopold (81)
Extras: Cole (80)

Elliot (80)
Allen (77)

I'll propably try to deal Steen + Assets for a better goaltender, and see if i can open up enough cap space to sign Winnik for 4th line LW.

NEW JERSEY DEVILS 2011-2012 DRAFT

The Devils, after a mediocre season going 38-39-5, enter the draft with a new GM.
GM Nichols Robidas is a rookie GM who is doing his first year of GM services anywhere.

He says that the youth is key, and he is also looking to get a goalie to replace Martin Brodeur in a few years.

The Devils have the 4th pick in the draft.

@TSNBobMckenzie: Hearing word that Parise is on the market for the right price, along with Clarkson.

@TSNPierre_Lebrun: Clarkson and multiple 3rds have been moved to Boston for Torontos pick in this draft.

With the 4th pick in the draft, the Devils select...

Jonathan Huberdeau!

Jonathan+Huberdeau+43.jpg

(hehe, predictions)

With the 9th pick in the draft, the Devils select...

Gabriel Landeskog!

gabriel-landeskog-colorado-avalanche-facebook-cover-timeline-banner-for-fb.jpg

With the 44th pick in the NHL Entry draft, the Devils also picked Brendan Jensen, G.

NEXT REPORT: Offseason.

Looked up a 2015 mock draft that had 3 rounds of mock drafts, so I edited/created about 80% of the list. At least I know 2014 and 2015 drafts will be great.

Going to start a Dallas BAGM.

I'm gonna edit/create the 2014 draft class and gonna put my own potentials for them and put them on their drafted teams.

I'm thinking:

Picks 1-5 4.5 Green
Picks 6-10 4.5 Gold
Picks 11-15 4 Green
Picks 15-25 4 Gold
Picks 26-36 3.5 Green
Picks 37-40 4 Red
Picks 40-50 3.5 Gold
Picks 50-60 3.5 Red

Anything I should change to that?

Teams i've done in NHL 14:
-Buffalo
-Calgary
-Los Angeles (i'd consider doing LA again)
-Ottawa
-Tampa Bay (i'd consider doing TB again)
-Toronto (i'd consider doing TOR again)
-Vancouver

Well I think you should do the Sharks, with them looking to move Thornton/Marleau and go with a younger core, since they lost Boyle.

Just started 2017 and my Rangers lineup looks like this:

Hagelin-Giroux-Nash
Kreider-Dubinsky-Tarasenko
Miller-Brassard-Kristo
Zuccarello-Boyle-Fast

McDonagh-Doughty
Staal-Barrie
Moore-McIlrath

Lundqvist
Scrub

Love the squad so far. Some decent prospects. Draisaitl, Killorn, Ehlers, Goehring (4 green OFD 23OA in 16.).

So I've made and upgraded all the picks from the first two rounds from this years draft. Any high potential late draftees that I should upgrade? Also any prospects that have good potential in real life, but EA puts them low?

The Devils finish the season 2 games above 500, which isnt the worst, but still needs to get better.

The organization was hit with a bullet when goalie Martin Brodeur decided to retire. This left the team trading away Patrick Elias, and acquiring another pick in the draft, which they already had 3 in.

The Devils have the 6th, 9th, 12th, and 28th pick in the draft.

-Picked a few players whos names escape me
-Picked Alex Galchenyuk.
-Signed Schnieder and Clarke McArthur in FA
-Traded Zach Parise for Victor Hedman, 2 1sts, and a 2nd

The Devils goal this season is the playoffs, and to make room for Huberdeau and Landeskog, Both players who are pushing the roster.

Must say I like NHL 12 GM mode alot.

(also brodeur retired so i had to sign schneider)

If I had up to date rosters, I would probably still play it. The only downside to NHL 12's BeAGM mode is that players don't decline rapidly enough so the guys dominating the scoring in later years are typically always in their 30s.
