He looked fine until the Hogs got killed 8-2. He hasn't been the same since. He put in a great 4-1 victory since then. But his angles have been hella off. I know he'll rebound. But he needs some time.

Derek King should have pulled him. But, he's a ****ing joke of a coach. Sooooo.....
was hoping Delia would be lighting it up down there, hope he bounces back. did King leave Delia in for all 8???

He's a perfectly fine bottom 6 player.

If you can put him in a package for an upgrade in the top-6 or top-4, then obviously do it. Otherwise keep him around as a bit of speed and skill in the bottom 6.

Why wouldn't a kid from Ontario who aspires to be a pro not have been on a strength program from age 17 or 18? He should be just about fully developed by 24. His natural testosterone production is likely waning at this age.

His college coaches have to shoulder some of the blame too, no? How could they let him stay that weak knowing he had pro aspirations?

7 goals 5 assists in 17 games so far, excluding his 4 point night that's 8 points in the other 16 games. Highmore and Wedin called up ahead of him, looks like he's slipping down the prospect rankings.

Highmore and Wedin are on expiring deals, so they want to know if they're worth re-signing.

Sikura is signed through next season.

Not sure if JC is a fan of him. I feel like a line of Sikura Kampf Carpenter is better than Smith in his place, but maybe he is better off getting top mins in the Rock.

Sikura is charmin soft. That’s why he’s not getting the call.

Then why is Strome in the NHL? :sarcasm:

The soft thing is part of it. His lack of finish is another part. Hawks having plenty of skill at the moment is probably another part.

Hopefully they're seeing who can fill in for smith once he’s traded...
