It's not the lack of system, it's players not executing what they're told. When they do what they're told to do they are very succesful. When they don't and when they choke you see what it results to in games 7 and in the current stretch.
It's not really that crazy and he can absolutely be blamed. Just because forwards are sucking and can't score doesn't mean he can allow as many softies as he did.

It's not crazy at all, no matter how pretty the stats are. Few of those back and we might be looking at a slightly different standings, which might seem pointless currently but could end up mattering in the long run.
