That's a great condition though. What team wouldn't give up a first in exchange for winning the Cup? I'd do it every year.

He's done good with Smith and Jurco, so full marks to him there. But there's a lot to be displeased about.

A lot to be happy about too. This is the first season in my life that I don't feel any joy watching the Wings. That's a pretty decent amount of joy the Wings have given me. Looks like Holland is on track to maximize the "reward" this horrible season can give us at least.

Oates calling Vanek just a PP specialist nowadays. Vanek has 27 even strength points in 48 games. I just don't think people have even payed attention to Vanek this year. I'll also never understand people who state he had a poor showing in New York. Honestly what more were they expecting?

I don't mind if he went to Chicago, especially if we got a kings ransom for it. I'm much more concerned with helping our team than caring about how well chi is doing.
