But for real I actually really like Gaudreau at that spot. His potential exceeds most of the skaters in that range by a pretty wide margin, in my eyes.

So I certainly understand why you favor picks like that for the position, that do offer such strong potential value, as opposed to going hard and heavy in the 1st.

Its going to be either 23 or 24. If Tampa advances it becomes 23. However, since arizona loses their first round pick, the 23rd pick is actually 22nd overall. So the sim is currently way off for that 2nd 1st round pick for the Wings.

The great thing about the simulator is that you start reading up on these names that you constantly run across because they constantly fall to you.
Who knows if they will actually be available, but as a result, there are about 10-15 guys I've come to like that I previously knew nothing about.

This is one of the best ones I have seen. Getting Lambos and Morrow when they drop, Svozil who is a great project. Like Cardwell and Canonica.

Also getting Gerasimyuk who is very underrated.

Tschigerl - Strong, natural skater with good defensive/two-way instincts.
Canonica - As above, not as good a skater but seems to always be affecting play, better defender.
