First and third goals were both really soft and he got lucky to not allow a fourth after the puck squeaked through him and somehow got caught up under him.

He looked almost as bad as Domingue.

Very spirited and gutsy win for Florida, who the NJD just couldn't hang with all night. What a defense corps they have down there. They're so deep on D that they can play forward. And yet we continue to roll out Mueller and Carrick. And Montembeault is a very good goalie IMO. He'll have a better career than Blackwood for sure. Why didn't we sign Noel Acciari? What a very shrewd signing which Dale Tallon is very famous for. One of the best GM's in the league and he went out and got Joel Quenneville, while we have Hynes/Nas. Thanks again Ray. And what about Brett Connolly? He has more points than Zacha and Hughes. He'd maybe be our best forward.

I was told Florida wasn't a better hockey club than us? That's what the majority of this forum told me. What a team Tallon and Viola have constructed down there. They'll be in the Eastern Conference Finals at minimum this year IMO. Look for them to take on the Rags in the ECF. While we sit home in the Spring for the 8th time in the last 10 years. What a lifeless franchise we are. We're in worse shape than Detroit and the Senzzzz.

Shero's idea of a backup goalie is actually the only goalie that's played here this year that has actually been good.

Shero's idea of thinking Schneider was gonna be able to be seriously relied upon, before finally realizing after 4 or 5 starts that he wasn't even serviceable is what brought us to Ewwy Louie.

Jeez a tough game for domingue. At times he has actually looked decent, but then he goes on and has a game like this where he looks like he has no business in the nhl. What I dislike most about him is his puckplay. He tries to be all Marty out there, but 9 out of 10 times he just givesaway or ices the puck.

Great game by Hughes though. There’s still a lot to improve, but games like this show why there was so much hype around him. He could have had a hat trick, had the the puck bounced a few inches differently.

And can’t win all of them, especially if you plan on drafting in the top8
