i said this a couple games ago, but our season is going to live and die by Blackwood, which is an abysmal amount of pressure to put on a young goalie.

They also banked too much on Cory not being bad this year, like a 33 year old chronically injured goalie was gonna be good again.

I really HOPE we offered Lehner a deal and he just didn't wanna come here.

A Lehner/Schneider tandem or a Lehner/Blackwood tandem would have been better than a Schneider/Blackwood or Domingue/Blackwood tandem. Because even if we started the year with Blackwood in the AHL, he would have been up soon enough with Cory either getting injured or finally demoted like he was yesterday.

They hardly ever show it after a loss. I don't know why. Since his pressers are very short when we lose. And when we win, he never wants to stop talking. He seems to love listening to himself talk after a win.

Although, they seem to extend the post game shows by about 10 minutes for games we win. It's over within 30 minutes when we lose.

The team really stinks, nothing much to say. Nico and Hall have been massive disappointments this years. Subban hasn’t brought the offense we hoped. The goaltending is anemic. Most of the defense is small and slow. Horrible, boring, poorly constructed and coached team. Total organizational failure.

lets not lose sight of how bad MB was tonight... again they can't expect him to shut out or give up 1 goal per game .. he has been playing well.. but he didn't tonight.. that was the first domino.. then a power play that not only didn't score but sucked the life out of the team...

and they completely neutralized taylor hall and .....which doesn't seem too hard these days.... at this rate what is hall even going to return us in a trade?

MBW was definitely very bad. Probably worse than the Arizona game, it's just that we didn't score 3 goals and outplay Boston tonight like we did to Arizona in that game.

At some point, we need to start scoring more than 2 goals a game. Even when we've won recently, we haven't score more than 2 goals in a game, except for when we played Keith Kinkaid.

Would be nice if Hynes took one look at that system and decided "You know what? Fast, Attacking, Supporting isn't working...let's see if we can try doing what they're doing".

Of course that's easier said then done.

agreed didn't matter if you can't score... but if they can kill that pp.. they had a decent second period and good start to the third... they needed that kill all the goals were really good shots... so some credit to boston but ...

Throw f***ing Sal behind the bench. To me, it seems like he would make a good coach, more so an assistant than a head coach but who gives a f*** at this point

Hall-clearly not the same after the injury and just looks like he doesn’t want to be here
Hischier-decent 2 way center but not a big time player
Palms-PP specialist and that’s it
Bratt-nice player but nothing great
Hughes-hasn’t looked like he’s ready for this league most of the season
Gusev-getting better each game, should be a solid player
Zajac-same old Trav
Coleman-solid middle 6 forward
Wood-comes and goes, decent bottom 6 winger
Zacha-been ok, but a bottom 6 player
Simmonds-still useful for his role
Greene-bottom pairing for most of the league but he’s still useful
Butcher-he’s not good
Vats-an actual NHL defenseman who’d be 2nd pairing at worst for almost everyone
Severson-he’s been fine, but nothing special
Subban-he’s been horrendous
Mueller-bottom pairing player

We have no big time scoring threat, no offensive threat from the blue line, no #1 center, and no physicality up front or on the back end.

Exactly..my dark horse for the biggest problem with this team going forward.
