I really think you'll be shocked at what a good coach can do with this roster. I honestly think just about any coach we've ever had - not just Burns or Lemaire, I mean Julien, Ftorek, DeBoer, even Kevin frickin' Constantine - would have this team in the playoff picture. It's obvious at this point that Hynes only knows how to tell talentless schlubs how to "skate harder" and "believe in each other" and other minor league bull****.

Oh i'm 100% sure a coach will definitely fix at least SOME things even just for structure defensively and changing the putrid, predictable power-play ...would like to see a new coach with Hall, granted I wonder if Hynes is still here because of his ties to Hall/USA Hockey, etc etc.

Hall is as good as gone. Might as well try to shake things up and see if the season can be turned around, before ultimately trading him.

With the excitement we all had coming into the season and then seeing this garbage on the ice, it's becoming more difficult to watch. Basic fundamentals this team lacks. Fundamentals that you are taught in Pee-wee/Bantam hockey.

To this point in the season I'd say Hayden has been better then Boqvist.

Obviously Boqvist is younger and has more potential, but to this point Hayden has not been the worse player on the current squad let alone the worst NHL player we've ever seen.

Last night he was absolutely useless except for one shift where he made a few nice moves along the boards. He skated last night like he was in quick sand. Hardly kept his feet moving at all. Dont forget that awful whiff from the high slot on a prime scoring chance in the 2nd.

This was the first time I've seen him play live and he was absolutely useless. There is almost zero possibility of us scoring with him out there.

Not the biggest problem we have, but at this point I'd rather let Boqvist play and develop than have this grocery stick go out there and do nothing all game. At least Boqvist has potential to be a good player in this league, Hayden is what he is at this point.

The idea that Hall is going to bring some big return is questionable. Maybe if he continues to put up a point a game, at the deadline he brings a first round pick or a genuine prospect from a team that feels he puts them over the top? But I doubt it. He has rental value period and does not look to be 100% physically either.

I think what bothers me most about Hynes is that we find glimmers of hope in a line, and then he immediately juggles them. What the hell was Wood doing with Palms and Hughes - he was just fine on that 4th line with Simmonds... and before that, Zacha balanced Hughes nicely.

There've been a bunch of lines that have worked over a couple of games, but they've all been broken up as soon as they get comfortable and gain any momentum.

Right now, we have no lines going, and no pairings that work.... and therefore - zero traction.
This, so much!

How are you supposed to gain any chemistry as a line if your Center is Hughes during the O-Zone starts, Zajac in the D-Zone, and a random interval of Hischier/Zacha in the neutral zone?

I don’t care what he returns, as long as he’s off our roster and we get the best possible package out there, even if it’s the Rangers.

Oh you are doing it all wrong.

Your supposed to say something like "the idea that Hall is going to bring some big return is ridiculous" or "the most idiotic thing I've ever heard".

You'll never get to a millions likes with rhetoric like this.

Our luck is that Colorado approves Byram trade and then Hall proceeds to fail physical...I can’t remember anymore, but do they even do physicals before trades? My mind is shot

I agree. Which scenario would you prefer:

#1. Re-sign Hall and Vats and proceed to suck anyway with a $10 million contract on the books.

#2. Trade him for a first and upper echelon D prospect and take that $10 million and spend it on Muzzin, Vats and a Hoffman/Kreider/Dadonov in addition to our top 10 pick?

I choose the latter.

Perhaps you should consider changing your username.

Or maybe editing it to add the word "sucks" next to it.

Anyway, the BPP (Best Possible Package) is what I want as well.
