Yeah he needs to smarten up. Love his energy, but he won't last if he keeps crashing into the boards at top speed.

Babcock effect. Detroit got a way with a ton of that when he was there. That is apart of his coaching strategy. The Ducks in 03 were the same way, though it's not saying much since the league as a whole did it, but yea.

If Cory allowed 2 of those goals tonight, Bobo Hillbilly would be in here telling us that ''Elite'' goalies make those saves and that Cory is not elite and has only had one good season and one bad one in the 2 two seasons (incorrect) that he's been a starter.

Kinkaid stunk tonight and has been bad since we've started playing him as a 1b. I think we have enough data to show that he's not a starter, never will be a starter and really doesn't thrive playing more than 22-ish game per year.

In fact, I'm scared to play him more than 3 more times this year, as it might show even more of his warts and make me hesitant to re-sign him. I think he earned another contract to be the backup before this, but we're torpedoing him at this point.

Nah. We have some good prospects.

I'd argue that 3 months ago was pretty low. Guys like Kalinin, DSP, Fiddler, etc.

Also Havlat, Ryder, and Mark ****ing Fraser were on the team a couple of years ago. That was terrible.
