what I love about that foote goal, is that it was actually not even a good pass but he still managed to not only get a good shot off but elevate it perfectly. Everyone else either completely flubs that or just gets it right to the goalie's pad.
I'm a bit confused on why the goalie was so...late though? Maybe he was too shocked Foote was able to get a shot off like that
Sal covered it. Jarry could have been better but Merkley did a nice job selling the shot on that.

I don't think you can take anything away from this game for the Pens.
I'm sure when you go up 6-0 in the third your attitude becomes "Let's pump the brakes and get out of this game healthy".

I disagree, after about the 2nd or 3rd goal Pits wanted it to stop, it showed these kids have another gear. They just need to start using it from the start.
Pens started playing again after the Bastian goal and the Devils still kept the tempo up, even after the Crosby goal. Thats the important part.

Yeah, I don't shit on the refs very often at all because it's understated how hard of a job it is, BUT, maaaaaybbbbe if you are half way up the ice and your coworker is looking directly at the play, keep your f***ing hand down.

Referees are why I stopped watching the NBA. It's getting to that point with the NHL but I love hockey too damn much.

Wow missed the 3rd, glad they made it a game. Maybe I'll watch it tomorrow. Agree with Jack the first two periods were embarrassing. Hopefully they don't look that dire again all season.
