We've been hearing this for YEARS now.

''Cory was really good the last 15 games'', ''Did you see how good Cory was the first 26 games of the season?''. ''Cory had 2 shutouts this month tho''.

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!

How many goalies are that bad for 4 years and have a renaissance at 34 years (which Schneider turns in 2 months) of age?

And bad goalies (which Domingue is also) have good games. And sometimes they even beat the best teams in the league on consecutive nights.

Nearly every single goalie that has played under Hynes looked like a sieve.

Even Domingue is looking good. So why not give him a chance to audition for a trade even if it's for a 7th rounder. The season is over

They're currently sitting in the 5th slot. 2 points outside of 2nd... let's pump the brakes in falling outside of the top 10.

They are pushing for the playoffs and they have been winning. The teams in the lower half of the standings are not that good, anything can happen.

Imagine they demote Blackwood to the AHL when he's healthy and go with Domingue and Schneider? Gross.

LOL stop it...they will have an interesting decision though. Might as well just dump Cory back down now that Domingue's actually strung together two pretty good games in a row.

Agree with those still pissed Hynes got way more leash than should ever have been possible, what a **** show

I'm not expecting any great shakes with the current bench but Nas at least got the teams collective heads out of their asses and they don't go belly up from the get go

Some fortuitous net minding has contributed positively as well

Unless you fired him 5 games in the only difference would have been draft position and potentially when Hall got traded.

These guys are making it sound like Ray wanted to make a trade that nobody agreed with.

You are a fool if management wouldn’t be very happy for Cory to rebound so they can avoid putting 4 years of dead cap on the books.

Doesn’t mean it will happen

Anyone still pissed at the No-Goal call (Goaltender Interference) that cost Goose a goal?

That's absolute horsesh-t to me.

I was at the arena and the building went bananas on that goal. It was absolutely gorgeous. I can't remember ever being so infuriated at a call. Absolute garbage. This league is an absolute embarrassment.

Not watching the postgame. Please elaborate.
They were just beating around the bush talking about decisions...and whether or not to trade or keep players and that this move gave Fitzgerald adequate time before the deadline to make those assessments...

On the face it seemed like nothing but I got the feeling they skirting something specific.

That Bratt miss is gonna haunt us

I thought that stupid-as-F "Goaltender interference" call was going to haunt us.

Should have been up 3-1 at that point.

But when I saw Bratt miss, I was like "Damn. oh well. Let's get back on it and try again".

At no point did I think that miss was going to "haunt" us.

That wasn't a missed Empty-netter there.

Yes, only because that pretty goal would have been icing on the cake for this game. But hard to complain watching them stay so mentally strong and battle for a huge win. This team is night and day different than under Hynes. Not that I need to tell you guys that!
