I just watched sportsnets coverage of the hit on Matthews by kronwall and it was equally bad. They essentially call him a dirty player, and that Matthews had no way of protecting himself. Well thats his fault maybe he shouldt have extended for the puck and should have instead focused on protecting himself from the incoming hit. The hit was clean shoulder to shoulder.
