2 More Assists for McIsaac tonight in a 6-1 Win... Up to 45 Points in 38 Games

Not far from being the best point-scoring defenceman there....

Points/game:

D'Astous 1.20 (turns 21 in april)
Beaudin 1.18 (turns 20 in october)
McIsaac 1.18 (turns 19 in march) youngest defenceman of the scoring Top3...
--------- rest under 0.90 points per game

I could not be happier with McIsaac's development. I loved the pick at the draft and I lovw it even more now.

Starting to wonder if McIsaac might end up being the best of all the young defensemen in the org right now.

Man hes on a tear. His team is pretty stacked but still the offense is good to see. If he was picked top 10 and having a seaosn like he is right now no one would complain. First in points per game for dmen in the Q as well

Just looked at the recap of the game on the Mooseheads site, it says:
Jared McIsaac was hit into the end boards in the third period and went down awkwardly. He left the game and did not return but is expected to be ready for the next Mooseheads game this Friday night when the team plays host to the Gatineau Olympiques at 7pm.

Guessing they just held him out because it was a blowout.

Since returning from WJC, McIsaac has put up 5G and 21A for 26P in 16GP. That's an insane stat line for a D-man, even in the QMJHL

Setkov was supposed to stay on loan with IK Pantern for the rest of this season, but now he's been recalled back to Malmö.

Malmö has been struggling lately and they're barely in a playoff spot. I think a big role in the Allsvenskan would have been better for Setkov at this point, he was starting to play quite well there from what I've heard. We'll see what kind of role he's put in with Malmö.
