Personal highlights from this game:

1. Svech and Aho were, well, Svech and Aho. Can't wait for Turbo to come back with those two and wreck the league together.
2. Trocheck is starting to look like the guy in Florida that got 70 points. I always thought that trade was highway robbery when it first happened, and today confirms a lot of that sentiment. Most FOs don't ever get players like that without at least a 1st round pick.
3. Skjei's so much more of a workhorse than I anticipated when we first got him. Basically was playing Slavin-esque minutes and his skates were as slick at the end of the game as they were at the start.
4. Lorentz and Bean belong in the NHL. Can't wait to see more of them in the coming seasons.
5. Gardiner's rebound year continues. He looks like a true second-pair guy, and his minutes are getting much less sheltered, as well, which is a big sign that Brindy's trusting him in a similar way that he trusts Dougie at even-strength. That's a good sign.
