Hell baby
Obviously they wouldn't let him out there if he has an elevated chance of reinjuring his leg, it isn't the Boston Red Sox doctors after all.

If true, then damn this guy is a physical specimen. I doubt he would be great upon return but just having his presence on the PK would be huge.

But I agree, he should wait until he's 100%... He'd be in an extremely tough spot going from injury to playing in the middle of the playoffs and being relied on as much as he is.

Seids is a big boy, if he feels he's ready to go then all the power to him. A 50% Seidenberg is still a hell of a bottom pairing/penalty killing Dman and if used properly would be an asset for the Bs.

The chance at another Cup is more important than Seidenberg's knee and career! I say let him play!!

If Seids is ahead of schedule with his rehab that is wonderful news.

But I don't want to see #44 on the ice again until next September at the earliest. It takes time for severe injuries to completely heal and it has only been a few months.

It takes 6-8 months, or at least that was the projected recovery time for Seids.

Sure from the surgery, but past that, it typically takes over a year for the player to fully recover from that type of procedure. It's usually not until year two that the player feels like they're comfortable and back to where they were before the injury. So I just don't think there's anything to gain by rushing back and risking another possible injury.

He better not play again this season.

I don't expect to see him this year, but would you still feel that way if he was cleared by our doctors and trainers? Because I wouldn't.

I don't see how he can miss like 5 months then just drop right into a heated playoff game/series and be better then any of our other guys.

for all we know, the injury might not be what we think it was.
I do remember him skating off on his own power. So right there it wasnt as bad as sturms injury.

I wouldnt be surprised if he tries playing in May

Someone mentioned they heard he might be back early from the guys on the Fan 590. I wouldn't put a whole lot into that - they talk rubbish a lot of the time.
