Sanford seems to be a genuinely shy and passive individual. His on-ice performance reflects those personal qualities. But the guy has talent!
I can't imagine that a 25 year old man can change his nature. Any more than I can imagine Parayko turning mean.
But I can be wrong. What does Sanford need? A kick in the pants or repeated encouragement? I say - encouragement.
