I love Kojima. I'm such a big fan of his I actually got the FOXHOUND/Kojima Productions Fox tattooed on my arm. I tried to get into Death Stranding when it first released but couldn't get hooked. My best friend talked me into giving it another shot, so I'm going to be starting this soon.

It's definitely one of the more beautiful (if bleak) landscapes I've seen in modern games.

Also ... again, I'm not super far ... but man I appreciate the sound design of the game. Seem like the majority of gameplay it's just Sam and the natural/physical sounds he'd hear while traversing that land. but when the music hits and swells... it's phenomenal.

I didn't notice that at first, but that's hilarious. And if there's any lead guy who oversees his pet projects and is going to be making 'the cuts' it's going to be Kojima lol.

The Directors cut trims a lot of the fat of the time into the story, adds some great additional elements into the story and makes it just a better game than the original. It's worth it. Play it from the start again when you do.
