i know, i know.. he can get some secondary assists and pk and stuff, but really, he needs to be on the 3rd line where he doesnt have to score, gets favorable matchups and can chip in a few here and there.

the less expectations there are, the better for delicate rick nash.

Would have made a play for Grabner but I can't really complain as they are maxed out. They didn't do anything stupid and they got Staal for what looks like a bargain by comparison now.

That being said, there is no way they get past Washington unless they can find a penalty killer. I would have done things differently this deadline but all in all things could have gone MUCH worse.

Nobody wanted Vrbata. Hamhuis was a mistake, but I can't fault them for not moving an asset without a market for him.

Your crazy bc Stepan isn't going to the 3rd line and Hayes isn;t gonna be the 4th line center lmao. Most likely E.Staal will be on the wings. I could deff see him taking the draws in the playoffs and then switching with one of Step or Brassard. How do you even have Fast/Lindberg on a line above Hayes?
