What a silly article.
It's almost like he is trying to create a controversy that isn't there. "They aren't particularly tight." I mean, c'mon. They've been teammates for a very long time. I have zero concerns about their ability to get along.

Bad Playoffs? He 10 points in 12 games with a LW with a bad shoulder and a RW that retired because of lingering post concussion symptoms.

I think Jake DeBrusk is perfect on Krecji’s left side and as he matures their game will only get better, now they just need to find a RW for that line.

I think it’ll be time soon to give Cehlarik a kick at the can with DK and Jake. See if he’s matured enough to make a dent in the scoresheet this time. We’ve tried just about every other viable option.

I guess I wasn’t crazy in thinking the top line is better with Krejci. People will still deny it because the “Bergeron Line” is so hyped.

Krech needs a real RW, Backes is just there so the kid line can play together. Poor Krech this has turned his line into a checking line at best. The kid line moves to 2nd for production. DeBrusk has to score on his own, there is no chemistry between the other 2 at all. Krech does not like playing a dump in chase game that Backes plays.

krejci 3 goals and 3 assists in last 5 games

are we still trying to say he has to be with marchand/pastrnak to have any chance at success... or will we finally admit a guy making over 7 mill a year needs to be able to play with other players and help them elevate their game too

He's back to his earlier years....wasn't pretty for a couple years. He and Cehlarik compliment each other well. Debrusk too!

Cehlarik unlocking the Krejci door?

He has 4 or 5 points in 2 games

Vs 3pts in the last 9 before that

Whoahhhhh!

Glad he's working out so far. Everyone has to be happy about this, right?

I'm not against letting that chemistry develop, unless others think a bigger name/+cost to acquire is worth it. (I'm also ok with getting a guy that's in the long term plans, just for godsakes no rental next to him)

I’ll say he’s playing well, and will continue to bring out the best in the players he’s surrounded with. This argument is pure nonsense though since you cant turn any winger into a productive player as we’ve seen by the collection of JAGS who can’t hack it on Krejcis line this year. I find your angle is to never really give him players that will elevate us to a cup which I find insincere since you're more interested in winning narritives than winning the Stanley Cup. So far so good with Cehlharik, the bruins lucked into a good line mate finally.

If we're celebrating 2 good games it shows how desperate we are for production, but let the good times roll with Cehlarik as long as possible.

Krejci was never going to look his best with wingers like Nordstrom. He does his thing and needs player than can comprehend and go with it. Clearly Pasta and Marchand are capable, JDB is getting it, and Cehlarik looks like he does too. He did last time they played together too. Krejci will make things happen most nights, his wings need to be ready and skilled and he'll make them look good.

He’s been our best forward over the past month or so. Reward him by putting him on the point on PP1 and slide pasta back to the ovi slot.

Backes can center PP2 with Celly and Debrusk.

Five forwards on the PP1? It's bad enough with 4 and Krug. 10 shorties allowed so far this season. 10. I agree Krejci deserves first unit time, so put Marchand on the second unit?

Nah I suggested bumping JDB down so it would remain 4 and Krug. Krejci is a better point man than Pasta.

Let’s be honest, it’s basically 5 forwards with Krug out there . DK has played the point before and I think they need to switch something up.

Another reason to put Krejci on the 1st PP is he’s still the best forward when it comes to carrying the puck through the neutral zone and zone entries.

All true but where does he go? That 1st PP unit is set-up for very specific handiness in each position. He'd essentially have to swap out for Bergeron or Pasta. So it would likely have to be Bergeron (not that it couldn't be done).

I wouldn’t mind trying him in Krug’s spot as QB to see how that goes. I think his style of puck possession and slowing down the play will open up Pastrnak for more one timers.

Move debrusk to the 2nd unit. More than enough shooters with krug and the top line out there

It's insane how Krejci never gets any credit for anything around here.

Maybe, just maybe it's the 13 year NHL vet who is helping the 19 games under his belt Cehlarik?
Huh? The same argument of when he's not producing it's his wingers fault, right? Pretty sure Krejci gets enough credit and criticism both ways.

My point of view, people's view of Krejci falls under two camps.
1. Gets credit when he's good, but has to take accountability when he's bad/invisible.
2. It's his wingers fault or credit.

Can we just be happy this trio is working for the past few games? Hope it keeps going.
