You're right. He's trash and wouldn't benefit the Bruins.

This is just about the exact definition of a strawman argument. Literally no one said he's trash, or that he wouldn't help the Bruins. They merely said that playing with lesser teammates, he would (very reasonably) be expected to produce less than the 40.5 pts a season he's averaged over the last two years.
