I love you, Alfie.
This should be shocking to no one.
Lol oh boyyy
Alfie Alfie Alfie
Not enough time until July 1st.
Shots fired, baby.
Alfie apparently asked his comments to be off the record and she went and published them anyway. Yikes.
Alfie saying what all the fans are thinking!
Should be interesting if she has enough credibility to actually make some noise, or if she will be dismissed based on being a nobody columnist.
Alfie continues to be the heart of this city. Love him and he knows what’s going on with the crap show owner.
If, as she said, the off the record ask came after then she was under no obligation to not use the comments but typically journalists are more lenient in those instances unless absolutely necessary.
Cue Count Dracula coming in here to defend Melnyk in 3, 2, 1...
And Karlsson likely feels the same way
There's not really anything to defend here though. It's just Alfie and Watson's personal feelings on the ownership situation. You either agree with them or not.
As much as I hate Melynk...this is NOT cool. Private conversations and off the record comments shouldn't be published like this (unless someone is admitting to mass murder or something horrific like that). This is completely unacceptable.
I hope what he's saying goes beyond hoping for a new owner and that him and Watson are actively trying to force new ownership. Although that's probably too good to be true...
This getting out in the public in this way is obviously a big deal, but is anybody who takes the time to follow and try to understand this team honestly surprised that Alfredsson feels this way?
Melnyk won’t sell though. It sucks, but I guess we’re stuck with him.
Offseason going well so far.
Low-class "journalism", low-class ownership... Maybe Alfie deserves better than this city.
The blogger is a huge piece of **** for doing this though, hope she loses any small following she had.
I wonder if anyone still thinks Melnyk is only hated by a vocal minority.
Separate names with a comma.
