Some major changes on the Islanders! We would like to wish Josh Bailey, Michael Grabner Mike Ribeiro and the young guys luck on their new teams.

Very happy to bring in one of the best defensive centers in the NHL who can also chip in offensively in Travis Zajac.

Derek Brassard has lots of potential, and a change of scenery could do him a world of good. Will see some PP time.

Tyler Kennedy is just a good, hard working, balls to the wall player. He competes hard every night and that's the type of player we are looking for.

Mikel Frolik has tremendous abilities, but lacks consistency. He will be given a chance to succeed on a strong offensive team.

Tim Erixson is a super skilled guy on the cusp of being an NHL regular. Very excited to add him to our blue line.

We also signed Jaromir Jagr to a 1 year deal. We were very impressed with Jagr's play during the '11-'12 season. He came back to play win one young star in Claude Giroux. He will now have the opportunity to play with another young star in John Tavares.
