I'm good with him back in September if he's ready to go. Pto obviously.Agree, I expect he will declare his retirement, he's going to be 36 yrs old when the season starts afterall. He was good for the team this yr, but that injury looks significant enough that it could take him longer than just the summer to recover. Maybe he gets a PTO half way through the yr if Ottawa has significant injuries, but I don't see it.
He can do 1 more year no problem. Sign him again.
Yeah, that was under the assumption he's healthy. It's true, he might just hang em up and that sucks because he was good.I liked his play this year but he had a pretty big season ending injury, I'd PTO him again and see how he does in training camp
Get him into the front office stat!!!!Fun fact, I saw Brass at a bar in Montreal tonight and chatted with him for a few minutes.
Really cool dude.
He confirmed that he's retiring in the off-season, so I guess that's all she wrote haha.
Everything I've heard about Brass suggests he's a hockey nerd who lives and breathes the sport, similar to Spezza. Yes please!Get him into the front office stat!!!!
