Here's complete scoring (http://www.iihf.com/fileadmin/user_upload/Game_Sheets/Men/20111221LATCZEWM20.pdf)

1 Hyka (Nosek, Jank)
2 Jaškin (Sekáč, Holík)
3 Sekáč (Jaškin, Holík)
4 Hertl (Přibyl, Straka)
5 Přibyl (Hrbas)
6 Holík (Zámorský, Sekáč)
7 Hyka (Nosek, Jank)

not sure about some assists, because of the specific font chosen by the guy making the game sheet :)

Hi everyone, based on this article both Hertl (suffered a shoulder injury) and Frk (concussion) are going to be OK for the WJC! That is awesome news...Let´s just hope their form is gonna be good as well. Frk scored a game-winning goal for Halifax in his third game back so that looks promising...We´ll see about Hertl[/QU

do not understand that article...clarification?

Frk isn't going to be able to play.

Stransky is missing (I think it's because he didn't attend the U-20 summer camp-plus he didn't sign with Vitkovice?-not sure).

Frk played on December 18th against Cape Breton, I don't see why he can't play?

How do you say Pribyl's name btw? I noticed in czech it has that accent on the R that turns Dvorak into Dvorzhak.

So is it Przhibyl?

That's a lot of consonants in a row.

It's the same R pronunciation as in Dvorak yes. So it's Przhi-byl as you wrote. Although it's extremely difficult to write down the pronunciation for the first part of his name, you really need to hear it spoken.

And unfortunately, announcers here have no shot in hell of getting it right.

It shall remain a mystery until I find a czech in person. There might be a few czech professors at my university.

I say it "perzhi-byl" right now which is probably a lot closer than "PREYE-BULL."

Hey guys,

I'm a sports writer and was wondering if there are any interesting story lines on this Czech Team? I saw Martin Frk and his not wanting to participate because he can't give it 100%, and might do a writeup on that. Any players defying the odds and making the team or anything interesting going on in Czech hockey? Info on strategies employed would be great as well

Thanks and hope you enjoy AB!

As has already been mentioned, Frk doesn't feel (and isin't) at 100%. Hadn't been playing fantastic since his return from a concussion (although improving each game), and didn't feel that he could play to the level needed for the WJC.

Also, as discussed earlier in the thread, per the Mooseheads twitter; It's now official, Frk has been deemed ineligiable to play QMJHL games until the WJC's have concluded. He'll rejoin the team Jan 6th.
