Anttila schooled Ekman-Larsson. Wrong guy to mess with.
Yes, never fight the baby giant. But he sort of had to. Will be interesting in the 3rd if the Swedish players will start throwing some cheap shots. It's only Sweden who would lose from that though, Finland can always just let the next scrub join the system if someone is injured. Someone like Kakko would be impossible to replace though.

Enroth is capable of being 2nd goalie, if Markström is out, it’s really unlucky because I still think he was on the way to overcome Lundqvist at WC.

Lehner got knocked out of the playoffs 2 days ago, so even if he would get invited before, it would happen after today.

Yeah, he will be totally happy when opens a press and see a note from Grönborg that they don’t count with him. And now they will ask him to come?

It's more because of the deal they have with NHL players that Lehner wasn't considered right off the bat imo.

It's not like Grönborg was trying to disrespect him. Lehner has no contract, it's pretty 100% he won't play. And then add up Sweden already had Lundqvist and Markström. Well, until we played Finland we did.
One player.
That's not how this works. This isn't tennis and he's not representing himself out there. Also the interference cross check on Pettersson wasn't exactly nice. Finland is playing some pig hockey and it'll be interesting to see if Sweden will escalate or deescalate.

Renberg praising Hägg and that Philly are happy with him. He should take a look on their boards, lol.

Markstrom was excellent. Svt has been busy raving about lundqvist but marky has been looking great.

Can't believe some people. It was totally Markström's fault.
He took a big risk sure but the Finn could have avoided him i mean he had time but just kept going it is just a training tournament ahead of the World Championship it was unnecessary Marky should have crosschecked the Finn instead when he saw him coming

I've been watching Hägg closely these games and I seriously don't think he'd be more than a 2nd pairing D in the SHL. He makes subtle mistakes pretty much every shift. That finish solo rush this period was only made possible because of his brutal poke check attempt on the blue line. He's made a number of poor breakout passes this game, the most memorable one to Kempe that lead to a great scoring chance for the Finns. So often he just fires the puck blindly along the boards an it gets picked up by the other team. In the defensive zone he tends to be all over the place, and not in a good way. He's also pretty weak along the boards.
