Holy shit he played?! Last I read people we're speculating a fairly serious injury, at the very least out a few weeks. What an awesome result!!

I think he looks to be a decent player, probably a 2nd line player at best. The history of our 1st round picks give me pause to anoint him the alpha of the pack.

The history of Chayka’s 1st round picks goes back only to Keller. And includes just Keller, Chychrun, POJ, Hayton, and Soderstrom

Which shoulder did Hayton injure? I noticed players on both teams slapping him on both shoulders after the game. No grimace at all...perhaps too many endorphins to feel pain.

He was so drugged up. Said he feels nothing at the end of the game.

Can you name which Coyotes were praised?

Hayton - so skilled and smart, and he was able to make unique plays on the ice offensively.
Maccelli - clearly Finland’s best play driver and continued an impressive season.
Soderstrom - made some of the best offensive plays I saw from a defenseman, while also being steady defensively
Raty - much better at this event than I would have imagined when watching him last season with his club
