It's an 8 PM curfew in Portland. No curfew for me since I live in Beaverton.

- 37 new deaths
- 408 new cases
- 1 new hospitalization
- 4 new in ICU

** Apparently, 202 new deaths have been reported, but only 37 of them are from the last 24 hours of data recorded. The other 165 were not reported due to data transmission issues. Don't know how far back those extra 165 go, though.**

But the daily cases drops again.

31st May: 2,919 (+179)

** Important to note that it may be 179 deaths, but they're not all from the last 24 hours. They had a data transmission issue and many deaths have been added. No word yet on how far back those ''lost deaths'' go back (days? weeks? months?)**

But if you look, the number of cases is still around where it's been the last week or so. So it's impossible that there are 210 new cases and 179 new deaths in 24 hours.

Sweden had zero deaths for the first time yesterday.

Too far. Besides. I've seen whales before, well maybe not in Montreal. :sarcasm:

That's too bad. Apparently this is the first time they've ever seen a whale in that area so it would've been something neat to have captured. The year 2020 just keeps getting crazier by the day it seems.

I've seen a lot of whales in Montreal, trust me
*waiting for feminists*

My experiment of enforcing a mandatory mask policy in my business has officially been terminated. Losing too many customers so have to abandon it. Last straw today was when a customer walked in without a mask , when informed about the mask policy looked confused and replied " I no sick".
I give up. Faceshields+masks for staff, customers are on their own.

Despite all the information out there, a large number of people are absolutely clueless.

Along with that it's maddening to see customers leave our store only to walk across the street to a store that doesn't require masks and make their purchase there. To make matters worse customers were even refusing to wear them when offered to them. We were literally the only store in our area with that mask policy. It's not going to work without government intervention and sadly we have no other choice if we want to remain open.

Crazy ... after all this time, and all the information out there, some people remain this ignorant.

The truth is most people are dumbf*** potatoes. I knew these half measures would never work here, been saying it all along. No clue where we got this idea that people could be trusted to make the right decisions. Especially if it means a minor inconvenience. How hard is it to wear a mask you f***ing potato? :help:

Technically, it's the first time that active population goes into negative....

200 deaths + 270 healed > 400 cases

I know that there is more people healed than official numbers
