When this thread was started Saginaw was out of a playoff spot and was 4-7-0-1 on the season including a most recent 8 games streak of 1-6-0-1. They had recently brought in Ethan Hay, but through 4 games with Saginaw it hadn't moved the needle. There was definitely some urgency for Saginaw to turn things around, and quickly. Thankfully they did and it's a great meme now.

It was certainly taking it to the extreme at the time, but no it was not embarrassingly ignorant.
