Fair enough, but I'm just pointing out that sleeping with a teammates' Mom probably wouldn't "violate the terms of his standard player's contract" so we can put that whole stupid rumor to bed.

Yeah, only a couple things I can think of that he could have done that would have warranted this, IMO. It likely impacted the rookies in some way.

Even more ironic because he tried to bring in Lucic in the offseason too.

Luckily Foligno has been everything we could have hoped for (and more) but they really need to be more careful about the vets they let into the locker room.

How so? Something came up and they quickly solved it by severing ties with Perry. Lacking due diligence? Perhaps, but from all accounts Perry was a solid team guy.

Was there anything shady about Perry's past with other teams? If not how was Davidson suppose to know he was going to do something stupid once he got here, I only seen praise for him by his former teammates/fans when he was traded for.

Not sure how this is a negative on KD. Perry has a reputation of being a great team guy and fantastic person off the ice. I can think of a few things it could be and all are in relation to the culture they're trying to build with regards to their rookies, but I'm not allowed to speculate.
