Except you'd have to go live in Edmonton which is garbage. He's producing fine for his age and he knows his role, he can pick any team he wants.

Even when he isn't scoring, the guys a legit PKer. Crazy to see that some people don't see the potential of him getting back to his normal level of play when it really matters.

Plus, he was brought in to really be a leader to a young group. That’s less of an issue with a veteran club. I don’t blame Chicago for moving on based on what they were paying and what he was brought in for.

At the same time, I think he could be a great fit for my Rangers. Veteran club, playoff run, and hockey players have a lot of anonymity in NY so he won’t have to answer questions like he might in a Canada market. The team needs some help in the bottom 6 so could be a win-win.
