Well they gained cap-space trading armia+mason in a deal to MTL. i don't think that cap space was used optimally though (ie: didn't sign morrissey or trouba to long term deals)So Winnipeg lost Dano and Armia for next to nothing ?

They were able to jettison Mason and acquire Cap Space by moving Armia.
He is a decent bottom 6 guy, but he didnt fit onto our skill lines or onto our shutdown line so he was the odd man out in Winnipeg.Definitely better than Dries, Bourque, Nieto(right now), and Kamenev(bottom 6 version). Nice pick-up.

Puck seems to follow him around in the offensive zone. He'll provide some secondary scoring and I think will be a good fit on the Av's 3rd/4th line. Just hopefully not against the Jet's.
Scratched. Was he injured or just scratched last yr?
Secrete recipe for the press box popcorn seasoning maybe. ITS OURSPlus he knows all Winnipeg's secrets.
Definitely a smart pickup. Hate to see him go, but never got along with coach here as was the case in Chicago. Definitely has the talent to survive, just needs to convince a coach to keep him in the lineup.Smart move. Colorado has good high end players but need depth, Dano is exactly the kind of guy that deserves a shot to get some ice time.
