Geno's defensive game hasn't been this good in 10 years.

Telling you...this is why we should be catering to him. Hes already said he loves it here. Was never a problem. Yet constantly heard about being traded after we had a bad year. Forget that...he can play well into his 30s.

Both him and Sid playing most of this decade without seeing a huge drop in their play. Alot will think thats far fetched but if they stay healthy and want to stick around, i see no reason why they couldn't do that.

They dont rely on Speed (McDavid) or a very fast/hard shot(OV) ....the two things that go first with age.

Guentzel better stay on his line for the rest of this year at least

Malkin is a large man, he can take of himself for 35 seconds. I don’t have a problem with the decision. The Senators are just fake tough guys who hurt people when they are in vulnerable spots. Geno was going to go out there, whether Sully sent him or not. He was standing for 45 seconds of that PK by the door, chomping at the bits to get out there. 2 goals, chance for HT after being snubbed for ASG, yeah he should have been out there.
