The team as a whole sucked and deserved to lose this one.

Not shocked. I picked the isles to win this series, and I expected that abomination we saw in the 1st period.

Barf.. We got outcoached and our start got outplayed...

Dumo was bad. Rust was bad. Murray was meh.

Only plusses tonight are Phil and Simon lol

Should have dumped Letang when we had the chance. Now we have another post-season of seeing him watch game-winning goals end up in our net. He killed us last post-season, he's doing it again.

What happened to this team. Hard to believe largely this same group won back to back cups.

Well, JJ will be back in, and that's probably for the best. Blueger should be back in too. We have a great third line now, and Geno's arrow is pointing up. I'd swap PH and Rust and see what happens. Not all negatives tonight, Dumo will start off better next game.

++++ Bjugs/Kessel/Simon: Awesome line all game. Produced, got momentum, and played very well. Fantastic 3rd line.

+++ G/McCann: They ended up having a monster monster monster 30 minutes. Great dishes and great point blank chances. If they can keep it up, they have a good chance of winning this series.

+ 5 on 5: Thought the Pens outplayed the Isles in this game so that is encouraging.

+ Schultz and Dumo: It wasn't pretty but I thought both guys played well. It took Dumo a full period to get back to himself but he was good the rest of the game.


------- Maatta: It's beaten to death. I sat here and said JJ should get a jersey over Olli. Any questions as to why?

----- Sid's line: Pathetic. Owned the entire game and Rusty looked bad.

- 4th line: Dad can't do it all by himself. ZAR was rusty and Wilson is not a good hockey player at all.

Sully's lineup decisions-- BOTH of them-- certainly came back to bite him in the ass.

If they'd found a way in OT, they win the series easily.

They didn't, and it's going to be a war.

Team deserved to lose. Garbage effort. Rust and Maatta better not be in next game. Glad Guds is okay.

Geno, Phil, McCann, and Bjugs were good to great though.

It's a best of seven series. It was never going to be a breeze, regardless of what people thought when they said the Isles would be a pushover.

On a bright note; can't really get much worse than we were tonight in the execution or effort departments.
