Good for him, hes been a leaf fan all his life and he just wants to play the game. The fact that he is "signing" for such a reasonable price shows how much he wants to be a leaf.

The coach (coaches) decides who plays not the GM.

There should be plenty of playing time available to anyone who earns it this year, especially with Gardiner out. Let's hope he takes advantage.
