Well Mikael Granlund and Teemu Pulkkinen are off to a pretty good season start with their SM-league teams. If im not mistaken Granlund did 0+1 in his first appearence this season after his surgery and Teemu Pulkkinen has done 2+1 on three games. They both have faced some time on speacial teams so it sounds good for the coming season.

here's a link to Mikael Granlunds post game interview:

Mikaee Granlund and Teemu Pulkkinen faced eachother for the first time on men's level (okay that sounds a bit nasty) when HIFK met Jokerit in a pre-season game (part of the summer tournament Finnish Trophy). HIFK won 4-2 (game was tied at the end, HIFK scored two empty netters bacause Jokerit needed a regulation win to reach the tournament final), Pulkkinen gave Jokerit a 2-1 lead in the second period when his slapper after the blueline beat Jani Nieminen top shelf blocker side. Granlund wasn't on the scoresheet but his play impressed HIFK fans. Some of them think he still plays too much like in the juniors (needs to play more "straightforward") and isn't physically quite ready for SM-liiga level. Apparently there were several NHL scouts in the stands.

Edit: forgot to add that Pulkkinen has scored a point in every pre-season game he's played, 3+1 in 4 games.
