By the end of the year, Philip Grubauer will be top-10 in goalies.

If anyone doesn't remember him...he's the goalie who played for Germany against Canada in the '09 WJC.

I think Fowler is number three but whatever, the top three are all amazing players. By the way you can change Cam Fowler from USDT to Windsor, he's agreed to play in the 'O' next year.

I don't think Hamilton offers enough to be a first rounder even a 2nd rounder. Smith-Pelly should on the list for sure.

Agreed. Granlund in my mind is much better than Pulkkinen.

Granlund had 57 points in 35 J20 games last year as well as 13 points in 6 U18 tournament games and 3 points in 6 U20 games.

Granlund tore it apart this year.

I expect more next year too when he skates on HIFK.

THN's Future Watch issue from 2008 had Pulkkinen in the top 3 for 2010. I'm still of the opinion that if not for his injury problems last season, Pulkkinen would still be ranked ahead of Granlund.

Yeah Pulkkinen had a hard season, so that dropped him. Otherwise he would be top 5. Granlund what, at 21? lol at that. At the moment he is maybe even top5. THE most skilled player in this draft.

Joonas Donskoi is missing from your list. He played 13 games with the Finnish U17 national team last season and had 5+14=19 points.
Highly skilled forward who is training the summer with Kärpät's SM-liiga team. Some issues with balance, strength and skating, but otherwise a great prospect with top line potential. If all goes well he could be a first rounder.

Sami Aittokallio seems like a top Finnish goalie in this draft class and could be in the top-100 once the draft day comes around.

Also two promising European defenders missing from your list; Vitaly Zotov from Lokomotiv Yaroslavl and Martin Marincin from HC Kosice.

And as mentioned earlier Evgeni Kuznetsov and Alexandr Burmistrov are first round talents.

The difference is, one plays in the OHL and will be starting next year for Belleville, and has been considered by many to be the most talented german goalie out there right now.

The other...well...he's not..

Which ones are going to be NHL ready for the 2010-2011 season? Fowler? Hall? Others?

i'll try and get to that [the nationalities] in the next few days

Just from a quick skim, I noticed three Slovaks on your list: Adam Janosik, Miroslav Bobocky, and Adam Janosik. Hope that helps.

From what I am hearing, the top Slovak prospect for 2010 is a 6 ft 4 defenceman named Martin Marincin.

Ryan O'Connor at 83?!?!?!? I'm shocked.

This guy has amazing tallent. Was one of the best Barrie Colt players.

He also isn't 5'8" Anymore... more like 5'11", and will likely reach 6'0".

O'Conner was something like 3rd among rookie defencmen in points last season in the OHL. He also gets time on the PK, PP and ES with Barrie. IMO, he'll go late first or early 2nd.
