Just a weird observation but looking at the standings right now and 5 of the 8 playoff teams are 6-3-1 and anahiem is 6-4-0. The west is ending the season strong, but not too strong...

Yeah, it was a snoozer for the most part. More than anything it was a good time for Steen, Tank and Bortuzzo to knock some rust off after being out the last handful of games. Glad there weren't any injuries!

Not really. It was entirely overblown by the media, as usual. Ells was pissed that he got pulled after being inserted to start the third. He went into the tunnel, blew his steam off and came back on the bench. Nothing that hasn't happened before, and certainly not an issue.

It's been a fun regularly season for sure. 7 great competitors - I think this reinforces the benefits of league parity.

Curious to see what the Stars/Avs do in the off-season to get themselves in next year.
