In this Tex/Bem are not prospects but I counted Dunne as one
All I can think about in seeing this, is imagining what it'll look like next season if we have a similar draft next year :D

"We had a couple of thin years here because we went for it two years ago and spent some picks doing it, adding to our lineup and trying to compete for the Stanley Cup," Kekalainen said Saturday after the draft concluded. "Now we went the other way at the deadline and regained some assets that we can use to restock the cupboards on the prospect side. I think our depth chart is full now."

I can't tell if Jarmo believes what he's saying (one draft = full prospect pipeline) or if he's just saying that to boost morale and/or persuade a UFA or two things are fine here.

I'm going to move this comment here to get it out of the busy offseason thread.

That is seriously encouraging. I'm curious though how they came up with that, I can't find the underlying metrics it is referring to. My guess is that this is just a simple NHL-e model.

We have 7 guys with big NHL-e scores. Chinakhov, Marchenko, and Voronkov are ahead of all but a few peers in the KHL, Foudy and Angle were ahead of all but a few peers in the AHL, and now we add Sillinger who had a monster USHL scoring season and KJ who was point per game as a freshmen in college.

Unless they put in some kind of deflator for last year's inflated AHL scoring, it is going to look a bit better than it should.

Based on other Twitter posts from Top Down Hockey, it appears it's just a simple NHL-e model. But it is still encouraging.

How’s Tarasov at number 3? He’s done nothing to be regarded that high. I still believe Marchenko is #1 given his upside

Tarasov's upside is #1 Goalie. Doesn't that count?

Shown he can play 16 games and put up a 2.07 GAA and .925 SV% in the KHL at 21 years old for one.
Yes, that’s good, but that’s really the only accolade for him. Shestyorkin, Sorokin are #1 NHL goalies for me, Tarasov is not there yet to be considered with that upside

With the recent influx of talent, it might be easier to rank our prospects in tiers

Tier 1:
Johnson
Sillinger
Marchenko
Chinakov

Tier 2:
Foudy
Ceulemans
Tarasov
Voronkov

Tier 3:
The rest

Or highest ceiling and highest floor.

Highest ceiling:
Johnson - elite forward
Sillinger - top line center
Tarasov - good starting NHL goalie

Highest floor:
Sillinger - greasy top 6 player with great shot
Ceulemans - 4/5 D
Foudy - defensive line NHL forward

If Knazko isn`t Slovak he`s in 2th round certainly. You greatly underestimate him. Similar like Voronkov and Foudy IMHO.

What does that even mean? I dont think anyone gives a damn where a player is from, be good and we will like you.
Foudy takes some heat but people have been pumping Voronkov's tires massively for awhile now

Hockey specialists said it. Wjat I saw, and I followed KHL, Voronkov isn`t worse than Marchenko and IMHO Foudy can be more than a defensive center.

Better than before this when we ranked them in tears...
