Columbus doesn't have its 2nd rounder in 2021, so that removes certain tiers within which they can offer, as far as AAV is concerned. To wit, they can not sign him for an AAV ranging from $6,544,641 to $10,907,736, unless they re-acquire their pick.

They also cannot sign a RFA for an AAV between $2,181,546 and $4,363,095.

Didn’t CBJ’s owner lose 940 million last year and that’s why they were shedding salary? I feel like if anything they should be worried about a PLD offer sheet

I love Jarmo if this is true.

We need more GM's like him. He's fearless and don't give a f***. More offer-sheets would be fun.

It's somewhat sad that he's the only GM who's not from North America. Same thing goes with European coaches, i want more of them.

The crazier, the better.
He was a great scout in Ottawa during his time there.

Super jealous that Columbus finally gave him a shot. Fearless.

Give us 4 1sts please

Would be wiser to just match and keep your stud. Would be wisest to just bang out a deal with him now before an offer sheet. I don't think BJs will be so dumb as to offer Barzy a relatively cheap contract like Montreal did with Aho last year. An offer sheet might wind up being more than what he'd just accept on an extension right now.
